PS Announces 2016 Cover Contest

The editors of PS: Political Science & Politics are announcing a cover contest for the October issue of PS. Do you have a knack for political illustration? An eye for political comics? Some skill with design and imagery? Then this is your chance to make the cover of PS!

This issue hits the press in the midst of the most exciting time in American politics: presidential elections! The journal will be packed with our traditional forecasting symposium, several research articles, and commentaries related to the November elections.

Please send images and illustrations to ps@apsanet.org by August 24, 2016. All images or artwork must be original to the artist. Individuals are asked to send only one submission; submissions will not be returned. The PS Editorial Team will select the winner. The winner will receive a $125 prize and a credit line in the October issue. Images must be 300 dpi, in TIFF or JPEG file format and must fit within the photo panel on the cover of the journal, which is 8.25” wide by 7.5” high.

We look forward to your submissions to this exciting issue! Take a look at some recent covers below as examples of the color and dimensions of PS.
